Octyl Phenolic Curing Resin(202 resin)
This product is a light yellow-green transparent block (sheet), which is mainly used for synthetic rubber with high vulcanization saturation. As for thermally reactive octyl phenolic resin, it is suitable for butyl rubber, EPDM rubber, nitrile rubber, neoprene rubber and natural rubber.lt
solubles in aromatic hydrocarbon solvents. Since low softening point,it is easy to be mixed into the rubber compound, which can improve themechanical strength and low temperature flexibility of the rubber compound, making the vulcanizate have heat resistance, chemical resistance, solvent resistance, and excellent electrical properties. lt can also be used in tire industry, medical sealing products, paint manufacturing, adhesives, rubber rollers and other fields. When only
using this resin for vulcanization, it is necessary to add neoprene (5-10%) or metal halide (2-5% as a catalyst. lf the resin is used together with TXL-201, the catalyst is not requiredJhe reference amount of the resin is 8-12 servings.
